Kick off Hispanic Heritage Month with community leaders, advocates, and Georgian's from across the state for GALEO Latino Community Development Fund's annual Hispanic Heritage Month Luncheon, a gathering celebrating the culture, leadership, and growing civic impact of the Latino community.
This year's event highlights powerful voices from across the nation and local communities, including:
- National Keynote Speaker: U.S. Senator Ruben Gallego (Arizona), a Marine Corps combat veteran and Harvard graduate dedicated to championing working families and economic opportunity.
- Local Keynote Speaker: Claudia Caycho Acosta, founder and managing attorney of Acosta Injury Law, recognized for her advocacy on behalf of immigrant families and underserved communities in Georgia.
As the Democratic nominee for Georgia Labor Commissioner and a candidate endorsed by GALEO Latino Community Development Fund, Nikki Porcher is honored to join community leaders in celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month and supporting the vital work of Latino advocates across Georgia.
