On the second day of early voting in Georgia, Nikki Porcher, Democratic nominee for Georgia Labor Commissioner, will hold a press conference at Liberty Plaza to unveil her flagship "Every Door Works" initiative—a comprehensive plan to repair and modernize the Georgia Department of Labor.

The "Every Door Works" plan addresses critical barriers facing job seekers across metro Atlanta and rural Georgia. The initiative focuses on eliminating state bureaucracy and creating direct connections between workers, employers, regional technical colleges, and labor unions across all 159 counties.

Porcher will be joined by labor leader Sandra Williams (Atlanta Labor Council) and constituent Stanley Muhammad to address the real-world obstacles facing working families and outline how a fully functioning Department of Labor will serve Georgia workers.
