ATLANTA, GA – May 31, 2026 – Nikki Porcher, who earned more than 310,000 votes in Georgia’s Democratic primary election for Labor Commissioner, will participate in the Atlanta Press Club Loudermilk-Young Debate Series runoff debate on Monday, June 1, 2026, at 10:45 a.m.
The debate will stream live at GPB.org and on the Atlanta Press Club YouTube channel, and will remain available on demand for voters across Georgia following the broadcast. It may also air on additional stations statewide.
Porcher, an Air Force veteran, former public school teacher, and founder Buy From A Black Woman, has spent the last year traveling across Georgia listening to workers, small business owners, community leaders and families. Her participation in the runoff debate reflects the growing momentum of a campaign centered in service, accountability, and a vision for a Department of Labor that works for every Georgian.
"This runoff is about one question, who will fight hardest for Georgia's workers? I've driven 9,800 miles and visited 63 counties talking to workers, seniors, small business owners and community members. I've heard what people need. On June 1, I'll be ready to make that case," said Porcher.
